Reflexivity is the practice of bending attention back on your own experience as it unfolds – catching felt experience in real time, before your working models move you to act. It’s not after-the-fact reflection or analysis. It’s in-the-moment awareness of your own processing – what your working model is doing, what signals your body is sending, what judgments are forming before you have words for them. Reflexivity makes the working model visible to you while it’s working. That visibility is what makes agency and authorship possible. Without it, your working model moves you before judgment gets a chance.
