In a mall or the backcountry, your bearing might have you travel in the 90o or 3:00 direction. The terrain, however, requires you to move off that straight line re-locate and re-confirm positions as you go \u2013 to zig-zag concourses and go up or down floors. To hike around a ravine too steep to descend, to find water or shelter, even to correct a navigation error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At work, routefinding involves all the who, what, where, when, how, why needed to accomplish your objective. A customer need emerges, a team member challenges the plan, a deadline moves, leadership changes.
