An information field is the space created by interactions. It isn’t just a record of what’s been exchanged in conversation or email. It’s everything available to participants in their interactions – every word, tone, gesture, silence. What’s said and unsaid. What’s implicit and explicit. Each signal shapes how participants understand the situation – and how they respond changes the field in turn. The information field is continuously regenerated this way, and continuously reshapes what’s possible next.
